Volunteers needed for Ciclavia

22 Marshall Magnet students will be volunteering as “crossing angels” at Ciclavia this coming Sunday and they need adults to help supervise.

What is it?

Ciclavia is a super fun urban bike ride through the heart of L.A.: Downtown. You get to ride in the middle of closed streets with lots of other cyclists and see the city like you’ve never seen it before, get some exercise, and help out your school. Do the ride and then hang out with the students while they supervise an intersection.

Crossing Angels will be stationed at an intersection to assist LADOT and PD officers make sure no cyclists hurtle themselves into on-coming traffic. Students will get a vest, flag, and supplies. This is a fun job on the route. There needs to be at least one adult on duty at all times.
