John Marshall High School needs our help! All we need is FIVE MINUTES of your time.
This Friday, October 24, 2014, is the deadline for submitting applications for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program. The number of people who fill out this application determines whether or not we get Title 1 money from the Federal Government. Marshall gets as much as $600 per student from Title 1, but if we don’t fill out enough applications, we don’t get the money.
Marshall High School does not yet have enough applicants to qualify for these funds. If you have not done so already, visit https://www.applyforlunch.com/ and take the few minutes (between three to five) required to fill out the application.
It doesn’t matter if your child doesn’t qualify for the program; it’s the number of applicants that matter, and we need more!
It would be a shame for Marshall High School to be disqualified for millions of dollars of federal funds because the parents didn’t know they could do something about it. You can!
